Early Education of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti (R.A.)

Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti (R.A.) received his early education at home under the guidance of his learned and pious father. From a very young age, he showed a remarkable inclination towards religious learning.
At the age of nine, Khwaja Sahib (R.A.) is traditionally said to have memorised the Holy Qur’an. He was subsequently sent to the madrasas of Sanjar, where he studied Tafsir (Qur’anic exegesis), Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), and Hadith (Prophetic traditions).
Through his dedication, intelligence and devotion to learning, he acquired a deep and comprehensive understanding of these religious sciences within a relatively short period of time.
